Townsville Business Women's Network holds a variety of business networking functions with at least one event every month, alternating between a luncheon and business after 5 functions in most cases.
Functions are open to Members and Non Members, with Members receiving substantial discounts on all event ticket prices.
LUNCHES-why you should join us.
Luncheons are held at various venues througout Townville city, to introduce our members and guest to showcase the variety of great venues we have in the city.
Keynote presentations are a feature of our luncheons, introducing the audience to a variety of speakers from experts in their fields, to authors, to successful entrepreneurs from local, regional or nationally based.
At most TBWN luncheons, Members and Alliance Partners/Sponsors have the opportunity to have "Show Case Marketing Space/ Tables" and present a "60 Seconds of Fame" guest speaking/business update/announcements spot.
BUSINESS AFTER 5-why you should join us.
This is a fun event and all about making "connections", again our Business After 5 events are held at a variety of Venues throughout Townsville.
At the Business After 5 events, "Mix It Up" networking activities are presented to ensure you meet and connect with at least 6 new connections. Plus have the opportunity to reconnect with those you have met previously to continue to strengthen that connection.
Business After 5 present a "60 Seconds of Fame" guest speaking/business update/announcements spot opportunities, with a few Business After 5 events also giving the opportunity to have "Show Case Marketing Space/ Tables"
NEW MEMBERS FUNCTIONS
TBWN hold special after work events for New Members Only. At this event, new members get to know each other, about each business represented there, the products and services of each new member in small groups in a social setting.
In addition new members are given in induction into TBWN, how to make the most of and leverage their memberships, to grow their own business connections into long term valuable and sustainable connections. This includes all the Hints & Tips for making the most of our Members only area of the web site, our Web Site generally, our Social Media [Facebook; LinkedIn, You Tube, and Twitter], how to make the most of the TBWN newsletter "The Networker" [A members only publication], and the wider distributed "TBWN Update Bulletin", with members, partners & sponsors advertisments, updates and announcments, [this publication is Distrubuted to a subscribers list of 1900 businesses in the Townsville broader region, as well as being available on the TBWN web site] and skills and strategies for becoming a master networker.

AD-HOC EVENTS
From time to time during the year TBWN offers Special Ad Hoc events where we partner with Members /Partners in events such as the V8's Ladies Longest Lunch and The Pink Ribbon Lunch.
We occasionally hold a "Business Before 9" breakfast which is targeted to small business owners who find it difficult to make a Luncheon or Business After 5 due to time frame constrains.
We also offer to our Members the opportunity to host a Business 2 Business event at their place of business, TBWN handle the event maketing and bookings and the member simply hosts the event, introducing the attendees the their business or organisations benefits, products or services at the cold face.
