I am a graduate of the Beaumont School of Interior Decorating and Design, and currently hold decorating courses here in Townsville with the same school. I also achieved success graduating with a Certificate of Fashion Technology and winning awards in both 1989 and 1990 Darwin Fashion Awards. I am a co-owner of it’s paint on Charters Towers Rd Townsville, and am the principle of my own business, "Finishing Touches by Janiene Murrell" which began when I started helping clients apply their “finishing touches’ to their colour schemes.
